"Rite in the Rain" is an all-weather writing paper designed to shed water and remain "writable" in any weather condition.

Jerry Darling developed Rite in the Rain paper for the Pacific Northwest logging industry in the 1920s to solve the problem of soggy and illegible outdoor paperwork. Still made in Tacoma, Washington, Rite in the Rain notebooks are used around the world in a wide range of outdoor applications.

Rite in the Rain's modern manufacturing facility is energy efficient and emissions free. In spite of Rite in the Rain's durability it is totally recyclable as standard paper, which is not true of synthetic or poly-coated papers. All wood fibers used in Rite in the Rain products are purchased from FSC-Certified sources and they use only soy-based printing inks.
