Folk was founded in 2001 by Cathal McAteer with the vision of creating "simple everyday clothing with subtle, innovative and sometimes playful detailing" (from the Folk website).

We've been friends with Cathal and the Folk crew for a long time, and the beautiful clothing they make was one of our earliest inspirations for starting Hickoree's.
