Iga-Yaki Tea Bowl
"Iga-Yaki" comes from Iga, a small village in Mie Prefecture in Japan known for its extremely heat-resistant clay. Iga-Yaki pieces are fired at high temperatures, and feature rough textures contrasted with natural, glass-like glazes formed by wood ash.
