Tamba-Yaki Storage Jar
"Tamba-Yaki" is one of the oldest styles of Japanese pottery, originating in the village of Tachikui in Hyogo Prefecture. Tamba pottery is distinguished by the use of iron-rich, reddish-brown clay gathered locally, and can feature either applied glazes or natural ash-formed glazes.
