VISIT US IN REAL LIFE: HICKOREE'S FLOOR TWO

Founded by G.A. Krause in 1883, Wolverine first started making shoes in 1903 at their own factory in Michigan. The company is based in Rockford, Michigan and still makes many products domestically.

In 2009 Wolverine introduced the 1000 Mile Boot, which is modeled after one of the truly classic work boots in American shoemaking history: Wolverine's Shell Horsehide Work Shoe. This boot gained its nickname because it was advertised as giving the user "1,000 miles of wear." Wolverine has brought back this timeless boot using American materials and construction methods that faithfully honor the original.
